The Shocking Revelation of Success.

"Do one thing every day that scares you."- Eleanor Roosevelt

Success is the end result of taking intentional actions.

If I told you Success was at the other end of fear, would you start? That's where most of my greatest accomplishment in life has occurred. This revelation will cause you to rethink how you define success on your terms. Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose. In simple terms, the achievement of a goal or the state of accomplishment. If you look into this further, Success is the State of Being. Which is why it is frequently used with I am, He or She is, or I was, or they were. Humanism has caused Success to be defined as the acquisition of "Things," rather than intentional actions. Making success appear easy to attain. Things like money, a house, or business are a byproduct of these steps. Being successful requires one to define a goal or aim in relative terms. In doing so, you can begin to ascribe intentional steps, measurements, and accountability of your processes to achieve the result you seek. That's all Success is.

I find many who are frustrated and are unable to replicate what they see successful people do. Others are unable to connect with successful people and feel as though they have been denied a privilege. When in fact, it's their inability to finish a course of action. Starting is the first step to achieving a goal, and Success is the result. Therefore, when we don't see results quickly, we give up and thus become unsuccessful.

Joshua 1:8 says, "Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful." This passage starts with an action verb that lays out a course of intentional steps such as meditate and be careful. Even More so, it's important to note; everyone has the Privilege or opportunity to become successful. Jeremiah 29:11 in the Jubilee translations says "For I know the thoughts that I think concerning you, said the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you the end that you wait for." Everyone is created with the right to be successful. When you set a goal, the end you wait for is Success. Your turn. Get your notebook out. Jot down what Success looks like for you. Write down your goals and use the S.M.A.R.T method. You'll begin to realize that Success is genuinely doing one thing every day that scares you and taking steps towards accomplishing your written course of action.
